Meeting people is so hard when you are face blind, because I was literally thinking "I'll recognize this person from their pink shirt", forgetting that next time we meet, they'll likely be wearing something different. I need people to dress like a cartoon character if they want me to recognize them.

Agreed! It's unbelievably stupid! Why would you use genAI to make something that is meant to be replaced? Wouldn't you want it to be obvious so you could remember to replace it? Makes me wonder if the only reason it's being called a "placeholder asset" is because they get caught.

AI should not have been used at all. If you care for the art you are making, you should take a firm stance against using AI in the process. We would have prefered anything else to AI. I hope you learn from this because this definitely put a sour taste on a game I loved.
