So @bma.org.uk Sat in an acute assessment ward with an 86 year old in chronic pain who has been told she can't have any pain relief until she's been assessed. This apparently may be several hours as there are no doctors available. I wonder why that is?

Several points here. They agreed to a settlement last year. They have excessively good pensions. Their earnings when they qualify are fabulous. They should negotiate without putting people's lives at risk.
