Western nations have "rule of law", but the USA has transitions to "rule by law". The difference is **significant**.

I set up an OpenClaw bot yesterday and I have to say it is a pretty impressive system. It makes a huge difference when AI assistant has ability to edit and maintain its own files to adopt skills, gain memories and schedule activities. This system is going change things in some interesting ways.

We can't live in peace because democracy has failed in so many countries, not least of all in the USA. People should pay attention to the fact that functionally democratic nations very rarely invade other countries whereas autocracies do -> by decentralising power democracies remain peaceful.

The social contract is completely broken: federal government wipes their arse with their constitution and nobody is being held responsible. Change of government can't fix that.

Treaties, laws and commitments only matter if they are enforced. Partners of the USA do not enforce any of these when the USA breaks them, so the USA can break them without consequences as they are little more than... mere guidelines.

Ultimately it's our fault that rules based order is failing.
