Next up, I hope to get a better grasp on speed. Getting comfortable with rapid fire, and then really dialing in with accuracy, all while maintaining the most important aspect of shooting: safety. This has been so fun and rewarding for me; I feel so lucky to have found this hobby when I did :)

For this qualifier I really focused on every shot as if it were my first one, dialing in on my fundamentals of grip, sights, and a slow and consistent trigger pull. I didn’t take forever, but every shot was calculated and therefor accurate. I didn’t let my ego tell me not to focus on these anymore.

-being conscious of “ego” and how my ego was really the biggest thing getting in my way of succeeding, and heavily contributing to my performance anxiety. I’m hoping these mental lessons will also translate to USPSA matches because I got another one next week!!

never got around to posting this here but this was my qualifier for my CCL class grouping from last week and I was really pleased with it after having done a really bad job at a USPSA competition 3 weeks ago. I know it’s different shooting under pressure, but I think also what especially helped was-

A cartoon-y blue figure with crooked / pointy horns, sparkly sunglasses, large pointed teeth, chin wrinkles, creepy looking hands with gold rings and he is holding a cane with a sparkly ball on top. His outfit is a sparkly disco fit straight out of the 70s. He looks fly as fuck. The tattoo uses sparkle techniques and is on melanated skin, in the area of the ribs right up by the armpit.

sometimes I think about cutting back on tatting and doing more with music because I am burnt the fuck out but is that gonna just burn me out more and fuck with my income?? ahhhh being disabled in this country sucks !!

Yeah I mean I get it but considering how hard musicians have to work to even think about auditioning for a spot like that and then the amount that we are expected to be prepared idk it just doesn’t add up lol. The problem is lack of funding for the arts tbh

Fibromyalgia sucks because going on a bike ride generally helps but if that bike ride is just a LITTTTTTTLE too extraneous or it’s raining or my clothes are not right all the sudden I’m in horrible pain, have a headache and fatigue for like 3 days 🙃

Imani is amazing!! Also important to note how this yt supremacist society CAUSES disability in Black folks (due to lack of care, not hearing them/taking them seriously, lack of research, dist. of resources, etc) and KEEPS Black folks disabled because of medical racism as well… it is all eugenics!!!
