At a restaurant. A few guys in the booth across from me are swapping “fornicating with females” stories (their words), discussing how women “won’t shut up”, all while one of them keeps interjecting trying desperately to convince them to watch JoJo Rabbit tonight.

The best part of apartment hunting is looking enviously at the most expensive spots in your city.

You know they are overpriced. Yet still, you gorge yourself on their untenable visage.

You try to find solace but the hunger churns inside you like the beating of a thousand black leather wings.
