South Asian Political Blackness in 1970s Britain In April 1979, activists and locals stood up to British fascists targeting Southall’s South Asian community. Saffron East explores the politics of the Southall Black Sisters, a feminist collective that arose in its aftermath.

Today marks 46 years since the death of Blair Peach, an anti-fascist activist who mobilised alongside Southall’s migrant community in 1979.
