This is the report from Bingo's wool sample. Her fleece was the grand champion in the Wool Show and received 1st place in specialty wool class.

A heart-wrenching weekend of crying from both lambs and the ewes as we weaned the babies this weekend. By the end of the second day, peace was mostly restored.

They are curious about us, but still a little flighty after a couple of stressful days.

Despite the inclement weather and my anxiety about the cool weather, shearing day went ahead as planned, and without a hitch.

My reward was to start digging my hands into beautiful fleeces to prepare them for clientele and mill drop-off!

Shearing day is fast approaching! Our sheep are literally itching to have their winter coats removed with the warmer temperatures we have been having.

Due to the possibility of inclement weather on the weekend, this will be the first time we have ever moved shearing into the barn.
