This mud volcano last erupted in April 2023, tragically killing one person due to H2S poisoning.

It has had numerous such eruptions in the last few years.

🧪⚒️ UPDATE: A second similar eruption of Bledug Kesongo mud volcano has occurred at ~16:30 this afternoon local time.

No reports so far of any injuries.
