Slight spoiler for The Secret Agent (it won’t make sense unless you’ve actually seen the movie) but the Hairy Leg sequence has to be one of the best moments in cinema circa 2025 cinema. The explanation from Kleber Mendonça Filho is even more intriguing and horrifying.

The Secret Agent really is as good as everyone says. I really dig Kleber Mendonça Filho’s particular brand of weird.
