ᅠHe holds the bag in front of their face with a smile. It’s just a keychain to go on their phone that they were looking at earlier. Seems like they hadn’t even heard him come in. Placing it in their lap he moves to sit beside them, crossing his legs as he does. He can feel it, something aching.

His face flickers with an unreadable emotion at that revelation. It catches him off guard, clearly, it was so casually said that his mind had no choice but to reel from it. Furthermore, that was a name that he hadn’t heard in weeks now.

That was such a specific way of describing death by poison that it was nearly comical. He seems pleased by their approval nonetheless.

Ellis seems more happy to meet another baker than anything, maybe just slightly more than them liking it. Eying the box he chuckles once.

He almost wants to laugh at that expression, finding himself grinning with a nod.

Cupping their face he places a kiss onto their forehead, murmuring against their skin.
