I’m sympathetic to the individual legislators. But it’s the sentiment - they think they beat the bully by kicking sand in his eye and he’s still going to steal their lunch money. We see it over-and-over and Dems just don’t seem to get it.

When are Democrats going to learn that “shining a spotlight” doesn’t matter. They are swaying no one and the opposition doesn’t care about being exposed. It’s not 1995, there are no gotchas left — Republicans don’t care, they will stay in power either way.

Why? It’s working exactly as they intended. The chaos is part of the fear tactics.
