I work for a state university, and our Board of Regents isn't required to recognize us. They don't want to admit it, but our organizing has changed their policies and won better pay and conditions for students, faculty, and staff.

If you're in the US, you can join a union even if your institution isn't legally required to recognize you and bargain with you.

I'm thankful for union members, and getting to go to meetings and actions with them and know that they all care about each other without anyone having to convince them to do it. #SolidarityForever
