It’s funny because I used to be “the Finn” on CNBC for a very short time, before Nokia collapsed. And he is now doing “the MAGA” on Finnish teevee, for people to gawk at and marvel.

Very, very few Finns believe in the core MAGA Q canon, but this one guy does. So he is a sort of ritual representation or an Oracle of America who repeats whatever Fox is saying that week, but with apparent conviction. And that’s on “balance”.

I just realized what my dad means when he talks about “that Ruotsila”. Finland actually has this MAGA guy who gets dragged to TV political panel discussions to represent a “real” American. He teaches church history, he thinks Trump won in 2020, that Dems mrdr newborns, etc.
