Temporary Jest

Anyone else feel like they’re existing on a foundation of anxiety and dread?

It’s like running on ice and trying not to fall on my face.

Anyway, how’s your weekend? See any good movies?

I’m not a poet. Let’s make that clear. Poems, though, have been pouring out of me over the last two weeks. They’re messy and emotional and raw.

It’s not good poetry. The Vogons would be impressed. I guess anything is better than a blank page, though.

Thank you for putting my experience into words. I can’t even wrap my head around promoting and publishing while trying to navigate this nightmare.
