Inspired by Greta Thunberg's Fridays For Future Movement, we meet outside the Dáil every Friday from 1pm to 2pm since late 2018 to keep the need for climate justice front and centre.

Hope everybody is okay. This happened just after our protest for safer streets in Cabra. It underlines the need for safe cycling and walking infrastructure.

Ireland No. 1 in Europe - yet again. GHGs rose faster (+3.2%) in Ireland in Q3 2025 than ANYWHERE else in Europe.

#Climate action, my eye.

Week #374 We managed to escape a downpour! Increasingly erratic weather is part & parcel of the climate crisis that our Govt seems intent on making worse - with plans to abolish the Dublin airport passenger cap, build fossil fuel import terminals, support of nitrates derogation etc.

'The new tobacco': The cities banning fossil fuel adverts Cities across the world are clearing their billboards of flight ads, SUVs, cruise ships and petrol cars in an attempt to cut emissions.

Last year, we urged the Irish government to introduce a nationwide ban on fossil fuel advertising.

They chose not to act.

But across the globe, cities and countries are stepping up—reclaiming the narrative and taking bold action.

Ireland, meanwhile, remains a climate laggard.

An appalling proposal is hidden at the end of the Government’s Bill on the airport cap; it would exclude decisions under the legislation from the current obligation on almost all public bodies to consider their climate impact and to be consistent with climate objectives.

Our action going totally viral on Twitter news right now!

We will not let the oil industry rest.

They are suffocating our planet. They are fuelling war. They are supporting genocide in Palestine.

Week 372 of protest as Govt demonstrates cognitive dissonance, trying to ram through a State LNG import terminal as the climate crisis deepens and Ireland is battered by rain and floods. Contact your TDs & tell them to #KeepIrelandLNGFree put a #MoratoriumOnDataCentres and #KeepThePassengerCap

The Polluters Must Pay, Not Advertise It's time for Ireland to ban fossil fuel advertising.

The ongoing extreme weather and flooding across Ireland should trigger unprecedented climate action from our government.

The question is though, will they act?

It's time for Ireland to ban fossil fuel advertising!

@news.rte.ie Why didn't the issue of the massive greenhouse gas emissions from aviation get as much as a mention in this article? RTE must do better!

Week 370 demanding climate justice, while our Govt pursues new fossil fuel infrastructure in the form of an LNG import terminal in Co Clare and continues to facilitate more and more energy and water-guzzling data centres. The utter madness of it!

Soaring congestion costs because cars are holding people and the planet hostage, with the government’s blessing.

Bold strategy.

Week #369 of our weekly protest outside the Dáil from 1 to 2pm on Fridays, demanding #ClimateJustice. Our Government treats the climate crisis like an afterthought, instead of the existential crisis that it is. Come join us any Friday to help shine a spotlight on the dire need for action on climate!
