Overstated generosity of Australia’s biggest companies exposed in new report A new report into 20 of the country’s biggest corporations has found examples of them overstating how generous their reported contributions to the community were.

Australian companies like Westpac and Woolworths exaggerating how much they give to charity…who’d have thought! Great work @browne90.bsky.social

Heads up - usually after I put out this call I've had 200 emails already. This time, so far, it's just a handful!

While the grown ups at Kotaku are all off distracted thanking turkeys or whatever it is they do, I wanna promote as many unknown indies as I can!

If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

I took a job one day a week in education admin for an escape from the kids. Then fell in love with game dev brains just as the GFC destroyed the local industry. I rebooted IGDA Melbourne so devs could commiserate together and hatch new plans.

MG just slashed MG4 EV prices again — the Excite 51 is now $37,990 drive-away and comes with 1000kWh of Evie charging.
It’s basically: “buy an EV, get a year of road trips for free.”
Competition from BYD & Ora is heating up… and MG’s response is: “Fine. Here’s a discount AND electricity.”
