im probably gonna try to go to umass amherst for my bachelors and move out to northhampton to be with the other gay people once i get my associates but that wont be until like 2028 absolute earliest. i never had the opportunity to study full time but thats ok.

my life has worked out in a pretty cool way. being an assistant manager at a thrift store is gonna be such a good job for me in so many ways and then like im also creating an exit path from retail Slowly so i don't gotta do it forever. but its a rly fun job for at least the next few years

the dream is major in comms minor in japanese language. could end up minoring in like philosophy or some shit tho lol communications may actually be able to make that marketable. i have family connections in the communications industry in general so itll just give me a lot of options regardless

i already have a class im doing that would count for generalized liberal arts but not communications and i just dont want those credits to end up being useless even if its. literally 3 credits. i have to do this at such a slow pace since im studying part time, i dont want anything going to waste

like hot take (lukewarm to anyone who has actually worked retail) but absolutely nobody should be involved in corporate offices who hasn't done their time in a store level retail job. its so clear so many of them have absolutely no idea wtf they are managing and rly need to step back but lol

this is 100% the point im at with working retail. i respect everyone else who works with me at store level (including management, since i know a lot of em disagree w the shit that comes from corporate & only enforce it because they have to), but GOD corporate is always so out of touch w everything
