Advocates say Fulton County denies a crucial property tax break to heirs who are eligible under state law, threatening their ability to afford their family homes.
Iβve also reported many stories about low-income homeowners in Atlanta. Just this past month, I covered how Fulton County saddles heirs with thousands of dollars in property tax bills as they try to maintain their family homes, ignoring state law in the process. www.wabe.org/fulton-count...
