Definitely the first podcast in which I've been killed, buried, then dug up. Also, I enjoyed it.

I visited Auschwitz almost 16 years ago. I thought I knew the history before I went, but nothing prepared me for the experience of being in such a place. The shoes, hair, children’s belongings….. it all spoke of the total inhumanity of the place. May we never forget what people can do to each other

Blea Tarn is a small lake in the English Lake District. It offers great viewpoint of the Langdale Pikes which have been caught by late afternoon Autumn sunlight.

Michelle just seen your post - this is my photo of Blea Tarn that was promoted by your_lakedistrict. Here’s the full image.

Well, I didn’t specify that. They should be returned on a permanent basis. But if a β€˜loan’ gets them there in the short term, then yes. Once they are in Athens, they will I am sure stay there.

Keir Starmer could approve Elgin Marbles loan to Greece The statues may be returned in a β€˜win-win’ agreement when parts of the British Museum close for refurbishment, but the PM refused to cede ownership to Athens

I would love to see the Parthenon marbles back in Athens, along with the lone caryatid. Amazing to think that a former Tory chancellor and Labour prime minister might cooperate to make this happen.

I think a lot of us have worked with a guy like this, only 20 years ago we used to roll our eyes and try to avoid them. Now women no longer feel like laughing along when they don’t want to, and it’s not okay to be a dick anymore.

This was a great read. It’s such a minefield to know how as an author to successfully market a book. I think if an author can work closely with a publishing house to execute a good plan, it’s the best scenario

Yes! Even at the time it felt very much like it had an agenda. But it’s only after reading so much conflicting information that I realise just how skewed it is!

I enjoyed the documentary when I watched it, having little more than a basic idea of what happened. But since watching it I see there was so much they didn’t say. So many details left out. This article is really helpful to understanding that!
