The Works at Wyomissing, PA. The most casino-like arcade I've visited in a while, and also surprisingly, the only arcade where I've seen multiple StepManiaX cabinets on the floor. Usually one is enough but this place has two, as well as a broken Guitar Hero Arcade machine.

Friday night pinball tournament and costume part at the Glenside Machine Shop semi-private collection. Had a fantastic time for my first ever visit and ended up coming in tied for 8th overall out of 36 players. Lots of rarities here. Hope to be able to film and share this at some point in the future, stay tuned.

Was planning on doing some more filming today, but after a late night last night and waking up early this morning, my body is just straight up telling me "nope". Oh well. Guess I'll have to save that upstate NY trip for next week.

Also, Dorney is another one of the CF parks that made their haunts an upcharge this year after being folded into SF. They had been included free with admission for like, forever. The backlash was very loud and they ended up walking it back for the final three weekends of the season.

We've been going to this particular ACE event at Dorney for the past few years because one of the perks is a free express pass for the haunts. Not sure if the local chapter out your way runs anything similar; if so, might be worth checking out.

Put some miles on the car driving throughout Central Jersey for videos. Some days just don't work out as far as scouting locations go though. Out of 7 places I visited, only 3 had games in them. The other 4? Either no games, SOME games but nothing working, or totally out of business. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yesterday at Dorney was fantastic. The coasters were running great. Pierogies for lunch. No new haunts but just about all the existing ones had new scares and effects in them. Also there was a gay rainbow disco werewolf dance party in the middle of the park with blood bag drinks! 10/10, no notes.

Great day at Knoebels, slightly dampened by mild head trauma (damn you, Eyerly Rock-O-Plane). Got 5 rides in on the world class Phoenix, saw lots of friends & made new ones, rode the carousel, drank PA Dutch birch beer. Oh yeah, and played some pinball & Fascination. Good times!

Disappointing pinball night last night. Had some really good games going in practice, then tourney starts and I completely forgot how to even flip a ball. I wish I was joking. It was embarrassing. Ended up dropping after the third straight 4th place loss. Hopefully nowhere to go but up from here.

One wasn't on PBM at all (it was a Regal movie theater). For the other two, nothing that would indicate either of them being closed for no reason. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thankfully all these places were pretty close by each other so it didn't really hamper the schedule too much.

(Guess I should have looked at the reviews first.)

Oh yeah, and even though I attempted to submit an edit on Google Maps TWICE to correct that last place as being closed permanently, it got auto-rejected both times with no notes or discussion. Even though 3 different people have recently posted reviews saying "uh this place is out of business".

Made today a filming day. Had 9 places on the list. Got 6 of them down. 1 was closed early (doors said 8, lights off when we arrived at 5). 1 had their gates shut. And the last stop? Completely out of business, even though Google says it's open & "busier than usual". I guess 6 out of 9 ain't bad?
