Big productivity night last night. Finished Captain America, Captain Carter, & Emperor Doom for #MarvelUnited.

And one more before heading into Indiana for a wedding. Spider-Man 2099 for #MarvelUnited. My 6 year old doesn’t understand how he’s a good guy and looks so scary.

Joan’s school does a word of the week. And this week it’s “ludicrous.” Amidst a government shutdown.

I think I might have figured out how to use slap chop more effectively for me. It gets you past the color blocking & wash stage quickly, which for me is the most tedious part.

YTD I’ve painted 112 models. Thanks to my recent investment in Marvel United, my pile of shame went from 24 to 135. So much for 100% done by end of the year.

Played in my local store’s #MTGxSpiderMan prerelease event. Finished 3-1 playing a black/red mayhem deck. Super fun set, really considering a themed commander deck now…

I used this and then 7 of each for mountains & swamps.

Slap chop is wild. On some minis, looks like absolute bollocks. And then this guy using it as a base coat comes along and looks too damn good.

A pair of Naboo Royal Handmaidens for Star Wars #Shatterpoint done. Not my favorite paint job and they are good enough.

Done with Venom & Red Skull for #MarvelUnited. Absolutely love these sculpts, especially Venom. No bias or anything…
