Last year Britt's whole schtick was that Reed should start over Randle. It made sense before Randle proved how good he could be.

His thing this year is that Reed should start over McDaniels. I don't think any of us should take that seriously.

Wolves media is way too ready to except the “finite energy” excuse for Ant not playing defense.

You don’t even need to reach for the MJ and Kobe examples to contest this. Look at Jayson Tatum (another reason Tatum is underrated).

I’m not sure I follow this logic. JC missed what, two games? I don’t track rotations, how often is Ant playing big minutes with the second unit?

If we are treating him as the keystone of that units defense, we’re probably in trouble.

What’s weird to me is the Randle-Reed defense also started out horrible last season but then they figured it out (relatively speaking).

Seems overly reductive to say that Nickeil was out there for most of those minutes…but also, Nickeil was out there for most of those minutes.
