How are things on X these days? Bsky is depressing

I think it's actually that we're worried we've gotten so out of social customs that we aren't sure what the right words are for the situation (or that they'll be received as such) and then just chicken out of trying.

What is holding us back? The fear of awkward interactions with strangers? The fear of rejection? The effort of reaching out?
