My Orks were started in 9th Edition and never got far. Unfortunately the main 40k rules aren't for me at the moment, but we'll see what 11th is like.

Spent the weekend playing 500pts of Lord of the Rings MESBG for the first time. Elrond got trampled to death! The ruleset is really light and fun, though I’m pretty sure I only remembered to use all my rules in the last game

Think its actually got some fun options. Theoden isn't the toughest general, but the Rohan shield wall certainly has some positives, and the elves definitely put in a lot of work. Even if Legolas did roll an awful lot of 1s to hit.

Even more LOTR. Absolutely awesome game. Can definitely see why it still has a following after all this time. Though finding some of the scenarios are very tough for some of the armies.

I've never got my head around that style of 3d modeling. I've only ever really done parametric CAD modeling which does have some really cool advantages but I'm not all that fast with it.

Yeah this is a 'not for sale' GW thing. Mostly so people can't abuse GWs in store return policy. They used to do a similar thing with blister packs, cutting off one of the corners if they were sold at a discount so people couldn't then try and get a full price refund.

Also appear on places like Aliexpress for unbelievably cheap if you're not in a rush for them to arrive.
