We know from our Phoenix neighbors' experience with data centers that as consumers, we can expect our electricity bills to go up if Project Blue goes through. Data centers account for 94% of increasing energy demand in Phoenix, and working families have to subsidize that cost.

White text on dark background: At the so-called "public information meeting" in Vail on July 23, 2025: • The City Manager acted as a representative for the developer, not for us, putting the interests of a shell corporation over our interests. • All of the presenters were from the development company, or supported the project. • When community members brought our own concerns and questions, we didn’t get direct answers. • They had NOTHING to say about accountability or enforcement if the developer or Amazon violate the agreement. The City Manager wants city council and the community to trust these corporations with our scarce water and expensive power. We say no!
