I want to extend this, now that AI is so popular, and say that Every program attempts to expand until it can add it's own Clippy.

I wonder how many engineers have already created their own coding assistant (co-pilot) tooling using custom or FOSS models.

I'm of the belief that co-pilot can only get worse as it scales up to be largely usable by the majority of people which is primarily js, html - ie, copy pasting code
