The cover for WE'RE HERE 2024. An illustration (in watercolor) of an earth-toned wild hunt tapestry with muted rainbow-y accents. The lead figure is a brown-skinned elf man with long hair and an antler like crown. He has top surgery scars and wears rainbow-fringed hose with thigh high boots. He rides a massive white elk. Other figures include a tan skinned falconer, a chubby darker skinned femme archer with a fro, a knight riding a unicorn with her girlfriend riding behind her, a faun with a pan flute, a shirtless bald person with fantastic eyebrows and long nails blowing a horn, and four fey looking hounds. I tried a lot of new things making this big lady, and I’m really happy with how she came out! She was a gift for my friend and fellow doll maker @aniva_jimbo on Instagram ✨

Something different! My newest project: a fursuit of my fursona, Pella!

Made by me on a base by @wmw66costumes.bsky.social with ear bases from @furpop.bsky.social

Making her was definitely a learning experience, and I did make some mistakes. But I’m proud of her nonetheless!

As for what l've been working on in the meantime: you will find out very soon!

However, this doll very tragically seems to have gotten lost, or at least delayed, in the mail. For the time being, I'm still keeping hope that she will be found, as they haven't confirmed her to be missing yet. Until that happens, l'm choosing not to post the final photos from her photoshoot yet.

Well, long story short: I finished her back in May. I haven't posted the final result yet, because this doll is a gift for my friend @aniva_jimbo on instagram, and we agreed to keep it a surprise.

So... what ever happened to the Sphynx?

Two beetle sculptures side by side, the left from 2014 and simpler in design, and the right from 2025 much more detailed and accurate. The pair displaying and evolution in technique and skill by the artist, Cara Bevan. Beetles are red with stripes of black and pale yellow of the Red Leaf Beetle.
