re-reading Lolita after 15 years and so many passages have the uncanny, before its time cadence of humbert essentially going “hey chat am I cooked” and the answer is always, resoundingly, “yes“

you may ask why I'm still playing chaos zero nightmare if the story is so ass and well. it's bc I do still like big titty women and also I've played 200 hours of slay the spire. I am part of the problem.

for eldritch horror slay the spire mobage needs, I recommend morimens. art direction is way more cohesive, it has some truly inspired designs, and the story has ambitions. it launched with shitty chat gpt translations but they've been going back to properly localize it

unrelated to anything, I'm still playing chaos zero nightmare and the story is so, so ass even by horny waifu gacha game standards but it's fun to play, and so

[coffee rambling continued] still, the fanwork I've indulged in this year has really driven the point to me in a material way that I cannot compromise on the stories I want to tell because otherwise what is the point.
