To me at least, the only fine print is the price really. Everything else looks awesome or is something that has already been industry standard for like a decade now.

You are incorrect, almost all of them are on PC. The exceptions are Destruction AllStars, Demon's Souls Remake, and Astro Bot. If you think otherwise, please list any 1st party PS5 exclusive that isn't those that isn't also on Steam. I'll wait for you to prove me wrong.

Now tell me, how many of those titles are also on PC? I'll just stick with PC next time. The only PS5 exclusives I have that I care about that are not also on PC are Demon Souls Remake and Astro Bot.

My PS5 is cool, but it also has like only 2 exclusive games that were worth it and everything else ended up making it to PC and were better there. So I won't be getting PS6 and will just stick with my PC and Nintendo. Dropping Playstation more than makes up the cost difference of Switch prices too.

I'm rambling imagined systems at this point, but skell combat has so much potential and I'd love to see it become so much more in another game like this.

Another one would be "Pilot Auras", Aura's that aren't linked to a weapon type or locked to a skell but do apply to and can only be used in a skell.

Replace cockpit time with a new system to spend GP to do special pilot abilities. Fun idea for that- "Linking Systems", make it so that one Weapon Systems passives are active at the same time as the current ones.

You could still slot in any weapon as arts, with 3 weapons fitting into a single Weapon System. Instead of specials, that slot is used for your Superweapon, which you either get 1 per skell or 1 per weapon system.

Like instead of switching between "blades" you would switch between "Weapon Systems", each modifying the Skell's base stats when switched to, as well as having unique passives when active.

My dream for X2 if they ever make it is for it to keep ground combat similar to now and iterate it to be a better version of what it already is, but to make Skell combat a newer and deeper take on XC2 combat in the way Ground Combat is a deeper XC1 combat.

Yeah, I've been focusing a lot on Skell combat this playthrough and I've found ways to make it really good, but it's very clearly the easier to manage, lower skill ceiling system. It was very funny though seeing every quest objective die in a single button press from level 30 on though.

Anyway, back to the game I go.

The pictures don't fully capture the scale or how open and freeform traversal is either. this is a truly "open" open world. Nothing is set dressing. You *can* go there.

For those who do not know, Xenoblade X has one of, if not THE best open worlds in video games.

In your inventory, when selecting equipment with an open slot, press ZL, move to the empty slot, then press A to select an Augment to put into the slot.

The once you understand the systems, everything flips and you start killing everything in one hit instead and are empowered with the freedom to make all sorts of silly and crazy builds to circumvent any problem you might run into.

No, your level barely mattered in the OG, and it barely matters now. It only meaningfully increases HP and accuracy stats. A single Rank V augment makes more of a stat difference to your damage stats than 40 level ups. Rank V's are very easy to craft early game as well.
