Huge congratulations to Evil Lucario and his team for taking world first on the new RuneScape fight! This crew continues to be the greatest of all time and came up with some really cool tech.

That said, please Jagex make more fights like Amascut. I don't care that a portion of the userbase cries about group mechanics. That shit is genuinely a skill issue. Every other major MMO on the planet has content made with 8 or more players in mind. RuneScape deserves well coordinated fights too!!

Really happy to see new group content in RuneScape finally. The game has so much tech that is largely ignored because of the burst damage focus in solo fights. Watching people come up with creative strats in hard mode has been a blast and is a great showcase of what only RuneScape's combat can do.

It really sucks because I have lived nearly my entire life here. Now I'm getting priced out by all this gentrification and had to move back home. rent has more than doubled in the past decade while my wage has barely increased at all.

The leadership here is so awful too. The only reason gross people move here is because we have such low tax rates but it also means that our social services are pathetic. Not to mention constant rezoning of essential ecosystems to build fuckoff huge houses native Floridians couldn't dream to afford.

I've seen a lot of cool art like this and it makes me wanna boot up my SNES

It's frustrating how RuneScape's community is so adamantly against cooperation. We have an awesome looking boss coming made for groups and instead people are just whining their asses off about how they don't wanna play with others.

It's a fucking MMORPG you antisocial neets go make friends

You could steal and immediately take advantage of Howl strategies. Ninetale's main gimmick in Veil can be stolen and then immediately punished before they can try again. In the rare case of Imprison Indeedee you could steal it and shut off their protect.

Like there is an insane amount of utility

Plenty of bulky mons like Porygon 2 still use Recover and you could take that from them too. You can steal Tailwind for yourself even against a Prankster pokemon because Snatch is Priority 4. You could basically shut down whatever Grimsnarl wants to do other than Parting Shot.

Like I don't think we realize just how much different the meta could be for VGC right now if Snatch still existed. Calyrex wanna start setting up on you? Take that buff. Zamazenta want to spam Wide Guard? Take it and block their kyogre's Water Spout at the same time.

Why does Game Freak remove niche moves like these? I understand they're not practical often but they still open up interesting strategies. Me First and Snatch were moves I especially had fun using for their counterplay. Made making reads feel rewarding!
