Honestly? Their stretch factor is RIDONKULOUS 😂

If you’re straddling sizes & can buy a few pairs, get 1 of each size to start.

From the amt of stretch, I would size down UNLESS you have a serious hatred for the feeling of sausage-tight restriction (not that it rly would be SO tight); size up ❤️

I have snag tights, love them lots — they have awesome sizes.

Also: I think that this year I’m also gonna try baking the barmbrack in smaller sized portions, too, just so I can freeze them; maybe like muffin & one cup sized loaves? 🤷🏻‍♀️

A collection of assorted dried fruit being prepared for the making of the Irish bread called Barmbrack. In this assortment there are: dried dates, figs, prunes, cranberries, currents, raisins & golden raisins/sultanas. Can’t go wrong with all the fruit!

Welp… we got a few Spanish black radishes harvested this year, and a very small harvest of the Hakurei/Tokyo Cross turnips!

Surprisingly, we are still getting strawberries to pick this late in the season which is a wonderful treat! 😃

The colour of most of the pears are yellow-green and show they are a lovely reddish-brown on the side that was most often facing the sun while growing on the tree.

The tree was originally planted in 2019 and this is the first year we’ve had fruit!

I’m so excited to see how they taste, but it will take a few days for them to ripen. Right now they’re rock hard straight off the tree 😂

A fresh out of the oven tray of homemade candied peanuts just sitting on a wire rack to cool. Flavour is maple-sriracha and uses only 4 ingredients: maple syrup, butter, sriracha and choice of your favourite nuts 🤪

Was desperately craving some candied-spiced nuts.

Opted to make my favourite recipe but using peanuts (instead of the typical pecans it normally calls) for as well as tried the recipe in my toaster oven just to see if it would work — obviously it does 🤪
