dawntrail /especially/ had this problem and it was absolutely soul-sucking

the major story beats of DT were incredible but the moment-to-moment quests where absolute dogwater, and the patches are miserable as well

I viscerally hated IFTC but christ it's there to make you feel insanely helpless and uncomfortable in a timeline where you're The Big Hero That Can Save Everyone

XIV's quests are about 95% run-from-A-to-B-and-play-phone-tag and it's fucking tedious as piss, at least IFTC gave you something to do

One thousand years of damnation for every player that complained about In From The Cold, one of the coolest mmo quests bar none
