New guidelines coming into force this month will 'make it easier for residents to build home extensions' in Brent - Harrow Online New guidelines will come into force later this month in a North London borough that will allow people to build extensions and adapt homes more easily. It

From January 25, homeowners across Brent will see red tape cut for home alterations, after the council adopted new planning guidelines via the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).

Last year, we secured funding from TfL to improve accessibility at Alperton station - making journeys quicker, safer, and fairer for everyone.
