Lord Huron and Lord Huron lore mean the world to me you guys don't understand, they're my everything

one thing that's tragic about the story of Lonesome Dreams to me is that Huron and Helena were both young when everything happened and as time went on Huron regretted running away and Helena regretted letting him go (that's one interpretation i like thinking about anyway)

just thinking about the fact that Huron carries Helena's scarf from the She Lit a Fire mv with him in the Time to Run mv.........(or at least i think it's the same scarf gjdndk)

i'm somewhat sure the talking you can hear in the background during the bridge? i guess of Ancient Names (Part I) is in Korean, idk what to do with that information but um i guess i have it 😭

every time i watch Ben's World Cafe interview and him saying "another one that references the graveyard" while introducing Used To Know, i think about that one KCRW interview where the interviewer asked him if he's preoccupied with death...he didn't necessarily say no 😭

i just think it's actually really funny to put songs titled Who Laughs Last and The Comedian back to back on the tracklist in an album gjdbdk Lord Huron are hilarious actually

in some ways Buck Vernon and Alan Wake are similar characters but you know Alan has a wife who still loves him so...but he was also trapped in the Dark Place for 13 years so evens out i guess fjdbdkd

story going on with Buck and Johnnie, we know that Ancient Names (Part II) is a Phantom Riders song, the one album of theirs that we know from Long Lost era is called Black Brained so you know who's to say that Vide Noir is not a Phantom Riders song too......

The Phantom Riders one is also kinda interesting to me cause it's not only a The World Ender reference, it's also a Vide Noir reference and the fact that the Phantom Riders have multiple connections to Vide Noir (the album) makes me think at least in some songs there's a duel

i feel like it's especially interesting when you consider the fact that the lyric video for The Night We Met, another Frankie Lou song, depicts Buck and Louisa (who's probably just Lee) so it would almost seem that there's some connection or parallel there........

this flyer from the Benny Boy Brewing pop up is so interesting to me, particularly the way it talks about Buck because the "but came back changed" bit immediately reminds of Meet Me in the Woods, which is a Frankie Lou & Clyde (or Claude) Fox song........much to think about.....

i think it's kinda like the cherry on top that before The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1 we already had songs that were about wanting to reverse things or do things differently in your past like The Night We Met and Drops in the Lake

i kinda like thinking that Brother is actually from the perspective of Blaquefut talking to Huron, trying to convince him to not run away after whatever it is that he did and that he's willing to fight with him and then thinking about what happens to him in the Time to Run mv....

no one gets Lonesome Dreams the way i do...

this is just me getting sentimental over Lord Huron for the billionth time but i really hope they know how loved they are and how much their art means to people, like me. they're my everything on earth right now and them and their art is gonna stay with me forever <3333

unfortunately for you guys gjdhdk, i'm never gonna get tired of Lord Huron or talking about them, obviously i've had many obsessions over the years, some came and went, some got quiet, that's never gonna happen to Lord Huron, they WILL keep occupying my brain forever and ever

i like to think that in the RCU Lord Huron have been in FBC custody at least once, 'cause the FBC were freaked out about their music, just going "why and how are these guys making songs about the Shadow and the Astral Plane and the jukebox altered item what is going on here????"
