21.09.2025 02:27 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Upwards panoramic photo displaying a small parking area in Tokyo, set between a few buildings, with only enough space for three small cars.
Tokyo has some of the most strange but amazing building layout Iโve seen in a city, like this little gap between tall buildings thatโs been turned into parking space
20.09.2025 16:48 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 1This is what Iโve done with mine! Itโs so fun being able to watch tv or play games from it, when if it has a lower resolution
28.04.2025 08:08 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Truly astounded by the #MarathonReveal - that cinematic short has style on another level.
Shocking that when artists are brought in to make art, they make amazing things.
The wargaming PMG doc was really eye openingโฆ thanks for suggesting this, itโs a great watch so far!

Just feels right playing #MetalGearSolid2 on a #CRT
29.03.2025 20:21 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Without money to get started, indie teams are left either dead on arrival or having to ask people in the same situation to work for free. And no one with the money seems eager to hireโฆ
17.02.2025 14:37 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0As a designer currently finished with uni and working on getting my first role in the industry, Iโm seeing lots of this too - itโs tough.
Thereโs money in the industry to waste millions on games that immediately get shut down, but none for new indie startups.
Supergiant always do a great job with soundtracks, love the Bastion ost

Another round of looking for fellow game devs to follow, let's hear about your game in the comments!
My game Obakenori a 3D platformer about a shape shifting demon stuck in the form of an Onigiri ๐

Finally managed to get my parentโs #crt hooked up with my PC. Canโt wait to play some games on here!
03.01.2025 16:23 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Have you taken a look at Beautiful Light?
I saw this video on it recently, which caught my eye. Might be one watchโฆ

Well played ๐
30.12.2024 10:23 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I agree that this is great for indoor environments, but what about when outdoors?
Itโs tough to find similar easy-to-follow language in natural/open environments, hence the whole yellow paint trend.
LOVED playing this, but I destroyed my 3dsโ top screen so itโs not the same anymore ๐ญ

Definitely pulled something in my back building this #Lego set this evening, but itโs so worth it.
Only a little further to go!
8 hoursโฆ I wish ๐ญ
Thereโs not enough time in the day tbh, especially during winter
Feels like Iโm starting to get back into making things, finally.
Who knew that taking breaks and resting makes a difference to your creative ability??

Adore your art style!! A sonic game looking like this would be so cute
28.12.2024 20:43 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Worst bit of this is that despite the title of it (โhelp us beat the botsโ), you can be sure that this is being used to train AI.
Which doesnโt do them any good either, when their puzzles donโt work!
A screenshot of Microsoftโs security check tools, which requires you to match a number and an image with a set of numbered circles and corresponding images. The test shown here asks to match the number 23 with an image that shows a lamp and sofa, but there is no visible number 23 on the following image, making the puzzle impossible.
A screenshot of the tool displaying that 14 out of 15 of these puzzles have been completed.
Tried to log into my #microsoft account to change my email notification settings, and got blasted by having to complete these awful test things. Most of them didnโt even have correct answers, like the one below.
Why do these exist?? And why do I need to complete 15 of them?!
Maybe we keep this one safely tucked away in the vault ๐
28.12.2024 09:40 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Totally agree with what youโre putting down btw. I find the process of working things through to get to a definition helps my brain to understand things better.
28.12.2024 09:36 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Ooh I think thatโs a satisfying way of defining it!
To consider yourself a โfanโ of a piece of media, itโs necessary to have experienced all of its attributes ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐
๐.
Thatโs interestingโฆ I wonder then: when we remember a game through rose tinted glasses and say weโre fans of them, but forget about all the difficult bits of it like janky controls and awkward sequences, have we moved to being fans of the idea of the game rather than the game itself? ๐ง
28.12.2024 04:28 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0If thatโs a future that Netflix wishes to push, they should start investing in audiobooks.
Film is designed to be watched, just as a game is to be played.
Thatโs very fair, and I agree that you canโt properly understand a game without having felt the experience of playing it for yourself.
But does that necessarily mean you cannot be a fan of it?
