Tender is the Flesh by Augustina Bazterrica is one of the most fucked up books I've ever read. It was amazing. Start to finish it was like Do Androids Dream... but cranked all the way to 12 in the body horror category. it was aweful, I loved it.

Today I cried because I remembered a story about a husky that would sing when her sled team would get tired to raise morale and after she died and the sled team kept competing they would sing that dogs song. Her specific song to lift their spirits. Dogs are the best.

Sometimes it's good to have days off...other times it's bad. Today I'm grateful I got called in 🙏
