Statement from MAJ President Nick Andrews: “Today's testimony in front of the Senate Insurance Committee demonstrates what happens when insurance companies aren’t held accountable through bad faith laws. DIFS is neither equipped nor empowered to handle the frequency and breadth of fraud the insurance industry commits against Michigan drivers. It’s past time for the legislature to send SB 245 to the Governor to finally hold the industry accountable for their bad faith actions.”
