I was looking for something in my dad’s fridge. I found two cans of diet cherry Pepsi. My dad doesn’t drink that. He kept it from the last soda my mom bought before she passed. 😢

Thelma is so tired she couldn’t even get up to eat her pills.

My stepbrother’s brain surgery is at noon. Fingers crossed everything goes as planned and that this can help his Parkinson’s.

Part of my view for the week when I’m not at work.

Was born near LA but family moved about 600 miles away when I was about 11. Still live here. But went back to LA to visit awhile back and it was just too many people. I’ll keep my town of about 7500 people.

We are in the middle of a storm system. So far just rain and hail but the road out is getting snow towards the middle. My brother’s bball team had a game out of town last night and sadly one car got in an accident. Kid is alive but has to have surgery. They should have postponed the game.

Storm is picking up. And with being at my dad’s house there is a generator. And I don’t even have to do anything. He has it set up that it will start right up if the power goes out.

My stepdad still has the bedroom the same as when my mom was alive. And if anyone ever wonders where I get my attitude from: my mom took the time to print this out and frame it 😂

But people don’t think of that. I even had to explain it to my sister one day.

Played the Boss card at work today. Which is something I very rarely do. I’ve always been more “let’s do this together” than “do what I say”. But today I had to put my foot down. Felt kind of good.

Apparently me straight out saying to the neighbor’s face I don’t want her on my property or messing with any part of my property isn’t getting through. Was looking through my camera footage and found her trying to open my garage door again.

Me: feels like it almost bedtime. Also me: wait, it’s only 8pm?!

Why did I read this as “ the pedophiles who support them”?

I love when people complain about our prices and say they will just go to petsmart. Okay. Have fun doing a 6 hour round trip to save $4.

My little group of friends has two rules: Isabel can’t exaggerate things and I’m not allowed to tell childhood stories. Well, Isabel way exaggerated today. Let see if they will let me tell a childhood story now😂

I forgot what I ordered from my favorite dessert shop in town. I did good. Look how beautiful this cheese cake is!

My dad leaves on Tuesday morning for a week. Apparently I get to do my job, his job and take care of his animals while he is gone. So, yeah. I’m going to need a lot of coffee next week.

So…first call of the morning was Ghost Face from Scream with a Valentine’s poem. I haven’t even had coffee yet, I’m not awake enough for this.

Because sometimes the day calls for some alcohol in a Hello Kitty cup.
