Will likely spend a chunk of tomorrow finishing the last two, and that will be my 1500 point KoW army finished 😤

Played a narrative game of Firefight tonight, 2v1 against my zombie horde! We ran a custom mission where if I fully tabled a player then I win, to force them to work together, but the dwarves betrayed the Matsudan - a running theme in their overall lore. Fun list!

No painting today, but I won a game of Firefight, and I magnetized my old world army so I could put them on movement trays (moreso for transport, Wood Elves don't run huge blocks I feel).

The magnetic Dairy Milk bar of +4 Movement and +7 Storage is a resounding success!

Once the models are finished, they'll look pretty much seamless on the base.

I may have gotten home from locals and immediately started painting, this Soulflayer is coming along great! The horse is mostly done bar bone colours, and I'll brighten up the rider too.

I'm amazed how quickly my Kings of War army has grown, a touch over 1500 points in 6 months! I'm hoping 4th doesn't change my roster too much, but I'll see what happens before building much more of it.

Another day trying to finish all the projects left on my desk. My Tormentors are finished, as is this Wrathmonger, and this Warsuit arm and Terminator.

The goal of having as many armies as I can finished and done soldiers on!

idk why this concept is difficult to grasp for a lot of people and doesn't take priority over wether or not liking wizards makes you a good person. Dont give her money! The money funds evil! its truly that simple

That's a tad bit more work to do given they're all already assembled and painted, but it's definitely better than what I was planning! :D

I'll just go digging for smaller, flatter magnets. The others will get used regardless 😅

Another old world misadventure: the magnets I normally use, 5x2mm for bases, don't fit under GW square bases. Gotta go find 1.5mm or even 1mm magnets now.

The Irish presidential election was on, so tiny boat felt like a fun time. Also powering through assembling all my leaders for Wood Elves. Metal kits are demanding to get through!

I struggle a lot to get things done. I've noticed I won't task switch unless a streamer I watch starts their stream. They've had to take some days off, which makes it awkward for me, but that's what made me notice lol

My new MDF trays for The Old World that are advertised as slimfit, that still have a few millimeters of clearance around the edges of the base

2nd shot of panel lined rhino tanks, showing contrast of white before and after panel lining. The white is identical on both panels.

Adding any colour to these guys just makes the white feel so crisp! You can even see it from this angle with the Rhinos, the top panel is the same white, but the panel lining makes such a difference!

No other colours, just agrax in the recesses.

I've a game of 40k tomorrow, at a full 2k points! I'll get to grab a shot of everything fully painted, which kind of has me more excited than the game itself lol

Continuing on with all the projects, just all over the place honestly. Finished base coating the Terminator, finished a Tormentor, and panel lined one side of two rhino chassis.

Two more Tormentors finished and fit on the base. I need the last one at the back in place to ensure the rest can fit nicely.

Also no real reason for it but I wanted to paint a marine, so I picked out a terminator.

Cracked the case on this one, they only ever came with one attack bike, old eBay listings confirm it. I'm gonna get inventive so!

Heyo #Nerdlings, any old Epic 40k heads here? I got this old clamshell of bikes and attack bikes, but it only included a single attack bike.

There's 5 bases, so would it normally be 4x3 bikes and 1x2 or 3 attack bikes? Help me know if I'm missing something here, thanks folks!
