The brother of federal Industry Minister, Mélanie Joly, is the president and CEO of Intelcom, a courier company that exploits subcontracted delivery drivers for pennies per package. It stands to benefit mightily from the dismantlement and privatization of public postal services in Canada.

Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away.

They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.

Brother Of Disabled Man To Canadian Hospital: He Is ‘Dying In Front Of You’ The brother of a disabled Canadian man is pleading with his hospital – which pushed euthanasia and cut off food and water.

Roger Foley has been speaking out about coercion within Canada's MAiD (medical assistance in dying) program for years.

He's been pushed to access it, despite repeatedly telling hospital staff he doesn't want to die.

There comes that age when we look at the photographs of our life and see fewer and fewer who are still a phone call away. Wishing you all the love, comfort and grace in which she now abides.

Arguments like the one BC Ministry is making here only make sense if you live in a candy unicorn universe where employers are not motivated by efficiency and max profit and only ever act in the best interests of workers.

We need to treat Canada Post as a public utility, which means funding it.

Its mission should be around public service, not profitability.
