I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

On OUC (911) Dashboard where they need to report dispatch mistakes the date selector fields to search records has no manual input. You need to scroll through every day in a tiny dropdown menu from 2023 - present. A simple input field along with a calendar grid drop down would make this more usable.

When it works, it is great but cumbersome. But agreed the bugs add up. There were several weeks when I couldn't adjust the map to select a location other than my current location.

It can get lower!

On DPW's leaf tracker site a user needs to check this confirmation box in order to click OK and close the modal. There does not appear to be any reason why the user needs to confirm this checkbox message. It is just an extra layer of friction for limited or no value.

In DC local politics: I hear ANC Jamie Sycamore is considering running for Ward 1 member of DC Council.

As a reminder, in 2023 Sycamore violated his constituent's constitutional rights and was sued over it. His misconduct cost DC taxpayers over $17,000.

The people of Ward 1 will reject Sycamore.

5. You have limited space on campaign signs so put a big picture of yourself and make your name and any platform issues smaller. Face recognition is more important than name recognition. People will remember your picture and they can find you walking around if they have questions.
