03.08.2025 14:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Israeli forces opened fire near two aid distribution sites run by the Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation as crowds of hungry Palestinians again sought food, killing at least 10 people, witnesses and health workers said Saturday.

We found that in 95 of these cases, the child had been shot in the head or chest. In 59 of those, we obtained testimony from eyewitnesses, either directly or via human rights organisations and medics. The witnesses alleged that 57 of these children were shot by the IDF, and two were shot by Palestinians - one in celebratory gunfire and the other in a gang conflict. For the remaining 36 out of the 95 cases, we have no account of what happened. Israel bans foreign reporters from entering Gaza independently, and the destruction and displacement make gathering details difficult.
The BBC has determined that 95 children in Gaza have been shot in the head or chest since October 7.
In other words, these are deliberate, targeted murders of childrenβnot accounting for the thousands upon thousands otherwise killed.

Psychedelic medicine, as it turns out, slots rather comfortably into the burn-it-all ethos of RFK Jr.βs movement. Could the psychedelic worldβs new Trumpworld allies be the ones who finally help it achieve its goal of legalizing MDMA for medical use?

She cradled his head in her hands, checking his pulse and whispering βYouβre OK,β as he bled out, the nurse told The Intercept. The medical worker asked not to be named because they fear for their safety. Hathaleen was then taken away in an ambulance, where he died before reaching the hospital.
Israel just detained and then deported an American nurse for trying to save a Palestinian life.

For months, people have been asking me whether I still trusted govβt data. My answer was always the same: The stats agencies faced longstanding challenges, some of which Trump was making worse. But there was no sign of political meddling.
I canβt say that anymore.
