There are very few places that we crowd people together in poor air quality like we do to kids in schools for 194 days/yr. It's time to clean the air & provide safe learning conditions for kids. We could change everything for families who deal with so much illness. And, of course, kids are worth it.

I teamed up with Harvard Center for the Developing Child on we released a new working paper that looks at why better air in classrooms matters

New study finds that air filters in schools reduces the number of sick days kids take.

Clean air works wonders. It’s egregious that we haven’t adopted it in all public places by now.

It reduces risk of COVID & other viral infections, allergies, asthma and helps with pollution and wildfire smoke!

Schools with mechanical ventilation have lower CO2 concentrations than those without.

BUT all schools have significant variability between classrooms showing importance of monitoring each classroom.
