FWIW, my daily driver is an old Mac Mini with an i7 Intel chip. It makes a very nice (and inexpensive) Linux box.

I made the jump from Fedora to Arch and I'm very favorably impressed. What level of nerd is this?

If the end of windows 10 is making you switch to Linux, good news: recompiling the kernel can now be done *without* blood sacrifice. They patched that out like a decade ago. No blood sacrifice needed.
