The legend that is Steve Cropper. He will be greatly missed. Met him briefly a couple of times in Memphis, and got to back him on piano as he sang his own composition 'Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay'. A great guitarist, songwriter and producer. RIP.

1991 I was a band member for Marianne Faithful - among others - in Frank McGuinnes's adaptation of Brecht's Threepenny Opera at The Gate Dublin. Marianne played Pirate Jenny, and she was great. RIP
