The suggestion to consider Palestine Action as a proscribed group is a gross violation of UK law, opposes the definition of what a terrorist actually does, and insults the memories of victims both of genuine terrorism and of the genocide in Palestine.

The fifth defendant, Noah, had already been found not-guilty by a jury after being accused of conspiracy to disrupt Manchester Airport by allegedly purchasing phones.

He was given a 5 year sentence for involvement with direct action group Just Stop Oil.
During the trial, judge Hehir didn’t allow Roger to talk about the climate crisis.
Roger was further arrested for truth telling in court.

Health professionals gather within the injuncted area at Kingsbury oil terminal in solidarity with Dr Sarah Benn.
Benn was suspended from the medical register after a conviction following engaging in peaceful protest.
She simply held a sign that read “no new oil”. /1
