Within hours of the ban, police arrested 29 people at a London vigil supporting Palestine Action

Over 200 people have been arrested so far, homes of alleged supporters have been raided, and armed police threatened to arrest a protester simply for holding a Palestinian flag.

• The move shields arms companies and the Israeli state from accountability, punishing those who act to prevent further atrocities.

• Predictions warn this will have a “chilling effect” on freedom of speech and assembly, especially for pro-Palestine and environmental activists

LIFT THE BAN ON PALESTINE ACTION

Criminalising anti-genocide protest doesn’t protect people, it protects power.

This is the first time the UK has proscribed a direct-action protest group, not an armed extremist organisation.

Finally, we’re not planning to overwhelm the system.

The police have a choice whether to arrest people or not. It’s only if they choose to arrest peaceful protestors that they’ve got a problem, which is on them, not us.

Secondly, There is no ‘plot’.

Plot implies something underhand and secretive. This is an open and transparent campaign against an unjust law, which violates basic democratic freedoms.

All materials, including the Action Briefing Document are publicly available on our website.

Firstly, This is not a ‘Palestine Action’ campaign.

Defend Our Juries is organising the campaign, as the Telegraph must know since they’ve seen our public Action Briefing Document.

Given that Palestine Action is currently a proscribed organisation, important distinction.

The campaign to lift the ban on Palestine Action makes the front page of the Telegraph.

Within the report, a retired Met officer says the system will be tested to the limit if thousands take part.

Join us on Saturday to oppose genocide and the unjust law. Together, we will win!

Only if the ban is deemed to have been unlawful - otherwise there may still be work to do to overturn any potential convictions. De-proscribing the group is not enough, according to yesterday’s High Court judge.
