I think bipartisanship can still work, but not between the Republican and Democratic parties.

My view is we're long overdue to get ranked choice voting into national elections. It opens the door for parties with more discrete focuses to form and work together without intense ideological leaps.

Note: I'm not saying it's for better or worse that filibuster rules are bypassed, just that there is precedent of both parties doing it in the last two decades when they've wanted to force an issue without compromise or delay. Bipartisan compromise is eroding, and these rule changes are one symptom.
