Other great finds @loyaltybooks.bsky.social in Petworth. Did you know they have a pop-up shop in The Parks by Historic Walter Reed? Worth checking out!

What goes great with books? A cup of nice hot beverage. We are perking up our coffee cup collection and moved these two to the giveaway pile. They can be yours along with a couple of teabags of our favorite licorice tea. Stop by and browse!

What book made you become a reader when you were a kid? This is one of ours. It was a few summers before the Bicentennial and this brilliant YA book set imaginations on fire. April 19, 1775 was the beginning of No Kings for America. #americanrevolution #books

There is a special gift in the Mint today. Traveling cocktail mugs! Stop by and pick up a great book (thanks whoever came along and helped us restock!) and mixup some drinks for you and friend. TODAY is a great day for park reading.

Hegseths tattoos are about the Crusades. Guess who he wants to crusade against? From Military.com reporter, Steve Beynon: In one of his books, Pete Hegseth, Trump's pick for SecDef calls for a literal holy war against the left. This was written while he was a serving as an officer in the Guard."

If this MSNBC story about courts-martial is confirmed, I'm begging people - especially writers and reporters - do not fall for the Trump line that this is about Afghanistan. This is about Trump seeking revenge on the people who woudn't him do things like shoot American protesters.
