10.02.2026 18:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Cadence max is more significant when considering sprinters (who, with few exceptions, have to be able to turn over quickly) and cadence min for horses at >8f. I would look at both usually, excluding opening and final furlongs.
10.02.2026 16:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Hi there. I haven't done much on dirt but there is every reason to think the same principles apply. Striding slower conserves energy and increases likelihood of staying further.
Sire/damsire can moderate this, but usually to only a small degree (I'm unaware of striding signature of PJ and UMo)
It is good stuff, but the idea that America had βa monopoly on coolβ is for the birds.

I use geegeez to store my ratings and for informed snapshots precisely like those displayed here.
Something magnificent about Kemi Badenoch's self-confidence, and her claim that the Mandelson affair is entirely down to her asking questions at PMQs. Like a toddler who thinks their plastic steering wheel is controlling the car.

08.02.2026 23:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I am not following the jumps closely at present, and missed yesterday's racing altogether. Could someone tell me if it rained during the Newbury Saturday card, and, if so, roughly how much and when? TIA

The public see a political class whose proximity to wealth has eroded its independence, where talk of public service is an empty ritual. It's this culture that claimed Mandelsonβs βqualitiesβ outweighed the risks.

Peter Mandelson is telling the truth on one thing: the idea he was bought for a $4k βbursaryβ or a $75k gift is ridiculous
The real incentive was a post-government payday - one so big he *rejected* a $3β5m-a-year offer
And Epstein enabled that payday
Hereβs the evidence. π§΅

27.01.2026 16:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0These are a bit ancient history now, though most of the basic principles apply. Perhaps my biggest finding since is the influence of the sire, with, e.g., offspring of Dubawi staying further than predicted from their generally fast striding, and some other sires the opposite.
